Background
Indian River Boatworks Inc., formerly Harbortown
Boatyard of Ft. Pierce, was established in the fall
of 2000 when former Harbortown employee Paul Enstrom
purchased the boat repair business at which time
the business was renamed Indian River Boatworks.
The management staff includes Harold Amaral, general
manager, who has 40 years in the marine industry
trade with many years in both new construction and
repair at Lantana Boatyard and Burger Boat Company.
Both Harold and Paul have worked side by side for
the past 20 years. Other key personnel include Patricia
who has been with Harbortown for the past 12 years
where she started as a purchasing agent and later
became our project and scheduling coordinator. She
is the one that will usually greet you when you
visit our establishment. Yvonne heads up our billing
and accounting department.
Yvonne has been with us for the past 10 years and
is a big asset to our company, Frank is our purchasing
agent who has been with us for 6 years and is very
helpful in finding those exotic parts whether they
are across town or on the other side of the planet.
These are just a few of the many key personnel employed
at Indian River Boatworks.

Our
Goal
To treat boat owners with the respect that
they deserve. We have found that our customers
like the special attention that we give them.
They are tired of being treated as a number
on a job ticket. Our business relies on repeat
customers coming back to us, and we strive
to be competitive with a guarantee that the
work will be done right or we will do it over
at no charge. We create a good working environment
for our employees with minimal turnover of
help. This is found to create quality craftsmanship
and satisfied customers. |
